Job summary

ELITEZ PTE. LTD. in Tuas, Singapore, seeks a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer with 10+ years of design and construction experience for industrial facilities. You will develop detailed designs, perform calculations, and support project teams to achieve schedule, budget and quality targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple disciplines, reviewing submissions, and ensuring compliance with codes and regulatory requirements on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of design and construction experience.
• Industrial-building design/construction experience required.
• Experience with precast structures and long-span roof trusses preferred.
• Site experience including piling and substructure works.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, steel and precast structures.
• Coordination with Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying disciplines.

• Perform full-spectrum Civil & Structural design activities for industrial facilities.
• Develop detailed designs for concrete and steel structures with calculations and drawings.
• Participate in value engineering to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Support Project Managers to meet schedule, budget and quality goals.
• Resolve site-related design issues and review contractor proposals.
• Provide technical support during construction including site inspections.
• Prepare and issue C&S tender packages.
• Review contractor submissions and provide clarifications.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical and QS teams.
• Manage technical documentation and submissions to local authorities.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations, codes and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and subcontractors on technical matters.
• Review shop drawings for precast and steel structures and perform detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-spectrum Civil & Structural design activities for industrial facilities.
• Develop detailed designs for concrete and steel structures, including calculations, analysis reports, drawings and technical documentation.
• Participate in value engineering and recommend improvements to performance, cost efficiency and constructability.
• Support Project Managers in achieving project schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Resolve site-related design issues and review contractor proposals.
• Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections, troubleshooting and verification of structural works.
• Prepare, issue and evaluate C&S tender packages.
• Review contractor submissions and provide technical clarifications and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying teams.
• Manage technical documentation and submissions required by local authorities.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable regulations, codes and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and subcontractors on technical and construction matters.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering .
• Minimum 10 years of design and construction experience .
• Industrial-building design/construction experience, preferably involving precast structures and long-span roof trusses .
• Site experience involving piling, substructure and superstructure works .
• Experience with reinforced concrete, steel and precast structures .
• Experience coordinating with Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying disciplines.
• Able to review shop drawings for precast and steel structures and perform detailed structural design.
• Familiarity with structural-design software such as STAAD-Pro, Prokon or Orion is advantageous.
• EPC experience within Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences projects is preferred.
