Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. seeks a senior civil/structural engineer to oversee design and construction management for industrial facility projects.

You will work on concrete and steel structures, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality targets. The role requires deep experience in industrial buildings, precast elements, and long-span roof trusses, with hands-on site exposure to piling and substructure works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of design and construction experience.
• Industrial buildings experience with precast structures and long-span roof trusses.
• Site experience in piling, substructure and superstructure works with RC, steel, precast structures.
• Experience with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying disciplines.
• Liaising with consultants and contractors.
• Checking shop drawings for precast and steel structures.
• Detail design and CAD handover to design teams.

Support all aspects of design and construction management for Civil and Structural systems for industrial facility buildings.

Assist in the design of concrete and steel structures.

Assist Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget, schedule, and required quality standards.

Strong background in industrial building projects, particularly concrete, steel, precast structures, and long-span roof trusses.

Hands-on site experience covering piling, substructure, and superstructure works.

Comfortable coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, consultants, contractors, and quantity surveyors.

Technically competent in structural design, shop drawing review, and structural design software.

Qualifications& Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of design and construction experience.
• Design and construction experience, preferably in industrial buildings, with exposure to pre cast structures and long-span roof trusses.
• Site experience in piling works, substructure and superstructure works, including reinforced concrete, steel, and precast structures.
• Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying disciplines.
• Experience liaising with consultants and contractors.
• Experience checking shop drawings for precast and steel structures.
• Ability to perform detailed design and provide design details to computer-aided design teams.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience with element design based on applicable codal requirements.
• Knowledge of structural design software such as STAAD. Pro, Prokon, Orion, and similar software.
