MKV Engineering and Trading Services PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a Business Development Executive to drive new business growth in the built environment.

You will identify opportunities, manage tenders, and convert prospects into contracts across the FM and M&E sectors. Ideal candidates hold a Degree or Diploma in Business or related field, 3–5 years in sales or bid management, strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business/Facilities Management/Engineering/Building Services or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in sales or bid management in FM or Built Environment.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation abilities, and industry networks.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
• CFME accreditation is an advantage.
• Candidates with strong interest in business development and facilities management are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out end-to-end tendering, including submissions, inputs, compliance reviews, site surveys, costings, and proposals.

About the role

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, developing, and converting opportunities into business across the built environment sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Facilities Management (FM) & M&E sector
• Monitor and respond to relevant tenders on GeBIZ and other private-sector tender/procurement platforms
• Carry out end-to-end tendering, from preparing tender submissions, including documentation, technical inputs, compliance reviews, site surveys, costings, and proposals, to attending tender briefings and interviews
• Ensure tender submissions are delivered on time and in accordance with internal governance and approval processes
• Track competitor activity, market pricing and industry developments in the Facilities Management and M&E Sector

About you

• Degree or Diploma in Business/Facilities Management/Engineering/Building Services or related discipline
• At least 3 to 5 years in sales or bid management within the Facilities Management or Built Environment industry
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation abilities, and industry networks
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines
• CFME accreditation is an advantage
• Candidates without any work experience, with a strong interest in business development and facilities management, are welcome to apply
