Jardine Engineering Singapore Pte ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned Business Development professional to drive revenue growth for Facilities Management Services. You will identify and secure new outsourced FM contracts and build a strong pipeline across commercial property sectors.
You will lead tender submissions, engage building owners and managers, assess operational and technical requirements, and develop competitive FM proposals and pricing strategies.
Drive business development and revenue growth for the Company’s Facilities Management (FM) services, identifying and securing new outsourced FM contracts and business opportunities.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of FM tenders, contract opportunities and prospective clients across commercial and other property sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with building owners, asset owners, developers, managing agents, property managers, consultants and other key industry stakeholders.
Leverage existing industry networks and market intelligence to identify upcoming tenders, contract renewals and new business opportunities.
Engage prospective clients to understand their operational, technical and commercial requirements and develop appropriate FM service solutions.
Conduct site visits and assessments to understand building conditions, M&E systems, manpower requirements and operational complexities.
Lead and coordinate FM tender submissions, including review of tender specifications, scope of services, manpower requirements, technical proposals, service delivery models and pricing strategies.
Work closely with Operations and other internal teams to develop competitive and technically sound FM proposals.
Prepare and deliver business proposals, tender presentations and client presentations and participate in commercial negotiations and tender clarifications.
Evaluate contract requirements, operational risks and resource requirements to ensure proposed solutions are practical, competitive and commercially sustainable.
Maintain strong client engagement throughout the business development process and support the successful mobilisation and handover of newly awarded contracts to the Operations team.
Monitor competitor activities, market developments and FM industry trends to identify opportunities and strengthen the Company’s market positioning.
Achieve business development, tender conversion and revenue targets while contributing to the growth and profitability of the FM business.
Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Business or a related discipline.
Minimum 4years of relevant experience within the Facilities Management industry, preferably with an FM service provider.
Strong FM operational background with good technical knowledge of M&E building systems and facilities service delivery.
Good knowledge of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary systems and other key building services.
Proven portfolio and track record in developing, tendering for and/or securing FM service contracts.
Strong and established network within the FM and property industry, including building owners, developers, managing agents, consultants and other relevant decision-makers and stakeholders.
Good understanding of FM tendering, manpower planning, service delivery models, contract costing, mobilisation and operational requirements.
Able to assess clients’ technical and operational requirements and translate them into practical and commercially competitive FM solutions.
Strong commercial acumen with good negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Self-driven, resourceful and results-oriented with the ability to independently develop leads and convert opportunities into business.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
