Job summary

Dyson’s Personal Care and Beauty Research Team in Singapore seeks a Senior Research Engineer to advance biosensing and materials characterisation capabilities. You will work across disciplines to translate research into product concepts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to translational development within the organisation.

The role emphasizes experimental work, literature review, protocol development, and communicating complex findings to leadership.

Qualifications

Advanced degree or equivalent with strong experimental focus.
Experience in industry research or commercial context.
Knowledge of materials characterisation techniques and analytical methods.
Experience with biosensing or electrochemistry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with scientists and engineers to define project requirements.
Provide technical perspective as SME for biosensing and materials characterisation.
Review literature and patents for advances and standards.
Develop and validate analytical/testing protocols.
Integrate material properties with biological findings in characterisation work.
Interpret results and iteratively improve experimental methods.
Coordinate small projects or workstreams and own deliverables.
Present plans and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
