Job summary

Dyson Institute in Singapore is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to advance a new product category from concept to production, specializing in complex mechanical assemblies and product systems that deliver high performance and reliability. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers and suppliers to bring ideas from concept through prototyping to manufacturing.

You will help define design requirements, apply evidence-based decision making, and support colleagues

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven ability to solve technical challenges and deliver engineering solutions.
• Hands-on approach with prototyping, testing and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complex product assemblies from concept through production.
• Translate challenges into design requirements and interfaces for systems.
• Create and refine concepts via analysis, prototyping and testing.
• Identify risks and mitigate with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, operations and suppliers for scalable designs.
• Develop and review 3D CAD drawings and engineering documentation.
• Contribute to design reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor engineers and graduates to promote learning.
