Job summary

Dyson Institute in Singapore is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to shape new product categories from concept through production. You will join the Singapore Design Engineering Team, contributing to early concept development, translating problems into clear design requirements, and delivering robust, production-ready solutions.

You will work with senior engineers, technical leads, suppliers and global teams to ensure performance, reliability and cost targets are met while selecting appropriate

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanical design/product development experience.
• Experience with plastic, rubber, metal or mechanical assemblies, and DFM/DFA.

Responsibilities

• Develop product parts, assemblies and design solutions that meet requirements for function, performance, reliability, safety, quality, cost and timing.
• Create and manage 3D CAD models, 2D drawings and engineering documentation.
• Build and support prototypes, rigs and test samples for investigation and validation.
• Define and support test requirements reflecting user behavior and failure modes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver robust design solutions.
