Investment Office - Treasury Operations, Investment Operations, Business Office Management
The Office of Investment manages the university’s endowment to generate long term investment income to support the long-term financial sustainability of the university. The endowment portfolio has investments in global public equities, fixed income, alternatives and private markets funds.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support existing fund administration and investment operations processes, drive continuous enhancements to keep up with the growth and complexity of investment activities
- Coordinate and support Treasury operations, and cash management workflows and banking operations
- Prepare and manage investment operations documents and liaise with external local and overseas counterparties, custodians, auditors, lawyers
- Maintain accurate investments data, books of record, portfolio monitoring spreadsheets
- Support reports generation on portfolio performance, exposure, compliance and risk management
- Provide support to Investment Committee Secretariat, including organising events/meetings
- Provide administrative and operational support to Chief Investment Officer and Investment Committee
- Support the preparation of management reports for Investment Committee and Board
- Coordinate and manage departmental administration, including maintaining proper records of documents & correspondence, and other ad-hoc operations and administrative tasks as assigned
- Drive business management and internal control process improvement and coordinate department project management initiatives
Requirements
- Broad and comprehensive knowledge of global investment management, financial markets, investment instruments, and Treasury and Investment mid/back-office processes and industry practices
- Demonstrable skills in Treasury dealing operations, fund administration, investment operations, investment reporting, monitoring and data management and experience liaising with overseas counterparties
- Independent and collaborative team player

- High ethical and professional standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation skills
- Highly Proficient in MS Excel (Advanced level) and Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint), Bloomberg
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in established investment management organisations
- Possess a Bachelor degree, preferably in Accountancy, Business Administration. Candidates with extensive relevant experience and skillsets will be considered
