Job summary

A global communications agency in Singapore is seeking an Art Director / Senior Art Director to shape and elevate creative campaigns. The role demands a strong portfolio and at least 6 years of experience in a creative agency. You will lead the creative direction for projects, mentor designers, and present concepts to clients. FleishmanHillard, a global leader in communications, has an immediate opening for an Art Director / Senior Art Director to join our Creative and Digital team in the Singapore office. We are looking for a creative leader, responsible for shaping and elevating the visual and conceptual direction of our client work.

This role is essential to our agency’s mission of delivering bold, effective, and memorable campaigns that resonate with audiences and drive business results. You will be at the heart of our creative process - bringing big ideas to life, inspiring teams, and ensuring our work consistently aligns with client objectives and brand tone. Your ability to champion creative vision, sell concepts both internally and externally, and guide execution will be key to our continued success.

This is a contract position, starting from 3 months.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and drive the creative vision for integrated campaigns, from concept to execution, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Bring strong, strategic ideas and storytelling concepts that answer client briefs and business challenges.
  • Present and sell creative concepts to clients, articulating the rationale and value behind each idea.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire junior designers and creative team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Provide quality control of creative work, ensuring alignment with the approved concept, client brand guidelines, and project objectives.
  • Contribute to team resource planning and, where required, assist in preparing project quotes and timelines.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in a creative agency or related field, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates sharp art direction and strong concept development. Must have a strong grasp of copywriting and the ability to build clear, compelling creative proposals from end to end.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, campaign development, and execution across multiple channels (digital, social, print, experiential, etc.).
  • Experience leading creative teams and managing junior talent.
  • Ability to sell ideas and present confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and the ability to interpret and align with diverse brand tones.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Exposure to resource planning, project scoping, or preparing quotes is a plus.
  • Passion for creativity and innovation; the ability to inspire others to think big and deliver bold, impactful work.
