Job summary

Intellect Design Arena Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Application Support Specialist for on-site client support. The role requires strong Java/J2EE and Oracle skills, with knowledge of Spring, shell scripts, WebSphere, and production release processes.

You will work closely with banks and product teams to implement solutions and resolve issues with a focus on uptime and compliance. The incumbent will coordinate with offshore teams, gather new requirements, and ensure timely ticket resolution

Qualifications

• Banking domain knowledge and IT experience in production support.
• Strong Java/J2EE and Oracle technical skills.
• Experience with Spring, shell scripts, and banking processes.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Experience in production release and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior developer in onsite support and design for new requirements.
• Implement and maintain activities per Banks standards and guidelines.
• Troubleshoot Java and Oracle based issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Manage EOD processes, app server/web server, and clustering/load balancers.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure for migrations and DR activities.
