Job summary

QUESSCORP SINGAPORE is seeking an experienced application support and development professional to join its IT delivery team in Singapore. You will work with the GI delivery manager to develop and implement applications supporting business needs and liaise with infrastructure and development teams.

The role requires 6–10 years of related experience, strong Java J2EE skills, SQL and Unix, and ability to manage tickets within SLAs.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate from IT or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GI delivery manager to develop and implement applications to support business needs.
• Liaise with the infrastructure support and development teams.
• Support L2/L3 day-to-day operations, addressing tickets, incidents and support requests and ensure incidents and problems are managed within set SLAs
• Ensure adherence of development practice (Waterfall and Agile), standards and updated documentation
• Provide L2 production support for 24x7 on Core Banking applications.
• Recent experience in working with Java J2EE applications.
• Good understanding of core banking and banking operations is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with Sunline Core Banking would be a strong case for candidate.
• Experience in application support role for min 2 years for support or Developers
• Willing to learn with good knowledge of Java, Unix, SQL
• Experience in programming languages such as JAVA/J2EE.
• Experience in Unix commands , SQL queries
• Knowledge of Job scheduling, MQ setup , C:D setup experience is a plus
• Familiarity with ticketing tools and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Grafana.
• Dynamic individual with thirst to learn
• Strong team player with excellent inter-personal skills
• Ownership oriented and ability to meet SLAs with no compromise on the quality of the work

Key Requirements:

• Must be graduate from IT or Computer Science
  Between 6 – 10 years of Application Development or Post-production support experiences.
  Experience with infrastructure setup such as firewall.
• Prior experience in a managerial or team leadership role is an advantage
• Must have IT background and intermediate knowledge and hands on experiences with SQL and Linux
• Need to have eagerness to learn and perform with commitment
