Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive (Accounts Payable) to oversee day-to-day AP operations and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.

You will review journals, prepare accruals, reconcile AP with the GL, and support month-end closing. The role requires 3–5 years in AP, 2 years in supervision, strong communication, and a proactive mindset.

This position offers up to SGD 5,000 per month and opportunities for system improvements and staff coaching.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or similar discipline is preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Self-driven with the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• High integrity, meticulous and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day AP operations and ensure timely processing of invoices.
• Submit accruals for unprocessed invoices and reimbursement claims aligned with month-end schedule.
• Review journals for reclassification and month-end/year-end closing timelines.
• Prepare and review AP reconciliations with GL and aging reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve disputed invoices promptly.
• Supervise, train and manage staff including KPI setting and feedback.
• Participate in AP system enhancement projects.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
