Job summary

Zenith Infotech (S) Pte Ltd. is seeking an experienced Level 2 Production Support Engineer with a strong background in financial services to support and enhance our business-critical applications.

You will provide Level 2 production support for financial domain applications, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with Level 3 teams for long-term fixes. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and monitoring tools is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on production support experience in the financial domain.
• Strong SQL troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
• Experience with automation scripting, preferably using Python.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for production applications in the financial domain, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution within SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate with Level 3/ development teams for complex issues and long-term fixes.
• Monitor application health and performance using enterprise tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python) to streamline support activities.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to investigate data-related issues and support troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with business and operations teams to minimize impact on end users.
• Contribute to knowledge base articles and runbooks to improve efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical production systems.
