Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an Accounts Manager to handle full sets of construction accounts for multiple projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of construction accounting experience and be skilled in GST reporting. Responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, preparing financial statements, and liaising with external parties. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this position. Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in construction accounting.
  • Proven experience handling full sets of construction accounts.
  • Knowledge of project-based accounting, WIP, retentions, and revenue recognition.

  • Handle and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple construction projects.
  • Monitor and forecast project and company cash flow.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple construction projects (GL, P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow statements)

  • Monitor and forecast project and company cash flow

  • Prepare GST returns and supporting schedules for statutory and tax reporting

  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, and external parties regarding accounts matters

  • Maintain orderly accounting, project, and corporate records to ensure compliance and audit readiness

  • Provide administrative and documentation support related to finance and project operations

  • Support process improvements and ensure accurate, timely reporting within a small accounts team

Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent

  • 5 years’ experience in construction accounting

  • Proven experience handling full sets of construction accounts

  • Knowledge of project-based accounting, WIP, retentions, and revenue recognition

  • Familiarity with GST or VAT reporting

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
