Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities in Singapore. You will handle accounts payable/receivable, GL, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and month-end closure.

The role requires at least 3 years in accounting, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Excel and financial software. Audit exposure is a plus. You will liaise with auditors, banks, and internal teams while ensuring statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Audit experience is advantageous but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for multiple entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and month-end closing.
• Process payments and update cash records to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and payment planning.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial schedules.
• Review invoices and quotations, identify discrepancies, and liaise with vendors to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments, auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external stakeholders as required.
