Job summary

Flexport is seeking an experienced Account Manager in Singapore to grow the regional book of business across Singapore and Malaysia. You will own long-term client relationships, identify opportunities in their supply chains, and lead a team of Account Managers to deliver value.

You will leverage logistics and technology expertise to design solutions, negotiate outcomes, and drive client satisfaction while mentoring your team and collaborating across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in sales, account management or supply chain roles, with leadership experience.
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of delivering results.
• Experience building client relationships globally and across matrices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business growth plan for the book of business, generating sales leads and transforming them into opportunities.
• Develop solutions using knowledge of the client’s goals, industry, and Flexport services.
• Act as the client’s trusted advisor, advocating for their needs with internal teams.
• Maintain regular client touch points and business reviews to showcase value and deepen relationships.
• Mentor and coach Account Managers to achieve performance and growth.
• Provide development feedback and career growth guidance to AMs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Ops, Procurement, Account Solutions, Implementation, Industry SMEs, and Trade/Financial Services to execute client strategy.
• Monitor client health to identify opportunities to improve outcomes and ensure Flexport meets objectives.
