Job summary

GLOBAL AIRFREIGHT INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a results-driven sales professional to drive new business, develop corporate accounts, and increase shipment volumes and revenue.

You will coordinate with operations, finance and overseas partners to meet air and sea freight needs, while maintaining a robust sales pipeline and monthly reporting. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Business or related field, 3–5 years in logistics sales, and strong negotiation plus relationship

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business, logistics, marketing, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of sales and business development experience in logistics/freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of air and sea freight and freight forwarding sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
• Sales training or certificates in sales/telemarketing/negotiation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business by prospecting, generating leads, following up on enquiries and quotations, and converting prospects into profitable customers.
• Manage and develop corporate accounts, maintaining relationships and increasing revenue, shipment volume and retention.
• Prepare and negotiate freight quotations, rates, and terms within authority and profitability guidelines.
• Achieve sales, revenue, gross profit and new customer targets.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, overseas agents, airlines, and partners to meet air/sea freight requirements.
• Monitor customer requirements and shipment activities, resolving service issues promptly.
• Conduct customer visits and business reviews; identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and submit monthly sales reports.
• Keep abreast of freight market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
• Undertake other sales and account development tasks as directed by management.
