Job summary

PERSOL Singapore is seeking a senior account leader to drive strategic account planning, revenue growth and long-term partnerships with key clients in freight forwarding. You will lead cross-functional teams, coach sales professionals and ensure top-tier service delivery across air and ocean logistics.

You will manage senior stakeholders, coordinate with regional/global teams, monitor KPIs, and ensure governance compliance while achieving gross profit targets and expanding business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in business or logistics-related field.
• Minimum 10–12 years in freight forwarding.
• At least 5 years in leadership within account management or strategic sales.
• Experience with multinational corporations and global stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic account planning and execution for key clients.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Drive retention and partnership development through regular reviews.
• Achieve gross profit and volume targets while expanding business opportunities.
• Manage and coach the sales team, setting clear objectives and KPIs.
• Serve as an escalation point for critical customer issues, ensuring service recovery.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to meet cross-border logistics needs.
• Analyze account performance and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
