Job summary

SIR MANASSEH MEYER INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in Singapore seeks an experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide learning support across classes and within the SEN department for students on the SEN register or with additional needs. You will assist classroom teachers to enhance the learning environment and meet developmental and educational needs of students.

The role requires qualifications in early childhood development and SEN, plus at least 2 years’ relevant experience, with strong English

Qualifications

• Qualifications in early childhood development and SEN.
• Minimum 2 years experience with children with special needs.
• Experience supporting phonics development using phonics programmes.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students.
• Team player with ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support across classes and in the SEN department.
• Assist classroom teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Support phonics instruction and programme delivery.
• Participate in safeguarding and background checks processes.
