Job summary

SIR MANASSEH MEYER INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in Singapore seeks an experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide learning support across classes and within the SEN department for students on the SEN register or with additional needs. You will assist classroom teachers to enhance the learning environment and meet developmental and educational needs of students.

The role requires qualifications in early childhood development and SEN, plus at least 2 years’ relevant experience, with strong English

Qualifications

Job description

SMMIS seeks an experienced Learning Support Assistant to provide learning support across classes and within the SEN department for students who are on the SEN register or present with additional needs, and assist in providing support for the classroom teachers that enhances the learning environment and the developmental and educational needs of the students'.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant qualifications in early childhood development and special educational needs
• At least 2 years relevant experience working with children with special needs or in a similar capacity preferred
• Experience supporting students in developing their phonics skills and effectively utilising phonics programmes.
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Good levels of written and spoken English
• Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students
• Good team player, able to work well as part of a team
