edunamics pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Educational Therapist to deliver individualized and small-group interventions for children with learning difficulties, integrating curriculum instruction, remediation, and cognitive skill development to help each learner reach their full potential.

You will assess students, develop IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and parents to support a holistic approach. This full-time role offers professional development and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or education (Special Education) or Early Childhood (Special Needs) or related field.
• Proficient in teaching the MOE Primary and Secondary School curriculum.
• Able to teach English, Chinese, Science, and Mathematics up to the GCE 'O' Level standard.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or small group therapy sessions for learners with mild to moderate difficulties.
• Deliver curriculum, remediation, and cognitive skills training.
• Conduct assessments to identify strengths and challenges.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned to student needs.
• Use evidence-based strategies to support learning differences (dyslexia, ADHD, etc.).
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals for holistic support.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamicSenior Educational Therapistto provide individualized and small-group intervention for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties, specific learning disorders, and/or emotional and behavioral challenges. The role involves delivering holistic support that integrates curriculum instruction, remediation, and cognitive skill development to help each learner reach their full potential.

Job Responsibilities

• a) Provide one-to-one or small groups for therapy sessions with mild to moderate learning difficulties, specific learning difficulties and/or children with emotional or behavioral concerns.
• b) Teaching in all-inclusive approach which includes curriculum, remediation, and cognitive skills training (e.g., memory, Visual skills and Auditory and listening skills etc).
• c) Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning strengths and challenges.
• d) Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with each student’s needs and goals.
• e) Use evidence-based strategies to support students with dyslexia, ADHD, executive functioning deficits and other learning challenges.
• f) Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• g) Ability to arouse and sustain interest /involvement from children through varied activities.
• h) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
• i) Provide guidance and training to educators and parents on effective strategies to support students with learning differences.
• j) Ability to participate in and contribute to multi-disciplinary assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation process.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology / education (Special Education) or Early Childhood (Special Needs) or related field.
• Proficient in teaching theMOE Primary and Secondary School curriculum, with familiarity in syllabus requirements and academic expectations.
• Able to teachmultiple core subjectsincludingEnglish, Chinese, Science, and Mathematics, up to theGCE ‘O’ Levelstandard.
• Skilled in working with awide age range of learners, fromearly years to secondary school level, adapting teaching strategies to suit developmental stages.
• Trained in specializedliteracy and phonics intervention programs, such as theOrton-Gillingham Approach, Lindamood-Bell program, and innumeracy support, includingDyscalculia intervention strategies.
• Experienced in supporting children withdevelopmental and/or learning difficulties, includingDyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, and mild autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
