Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an OJT Champion to train and coach staff on standard procedures, workmanship, and safety on the cleanroom/manufacturing floor, using iOMS.

You will assess skill gaps, promote safety and quality, accelerate time to contribution for new hires in the first twelve weeks, and drive continuous improvement through coaching and audits.

The role requires physical work in a manufacturing setting, ability to work in tight spaces, and commitment to 6S principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) and coaching on procedures, workmanship, and safety on the cleanroom/manufacturing floor.
• Identify skill gaps and training needs via OJT assessments.
• Promote safety and quality through daily observation and coaching of new hires.
• Accelerate time to contribution (TTC) for new hires across units during the first 12 weeks on the floor.
• Stay updated on coaching techniques and drive improvements in training across the site.
• Evaluate workmanship and audits; identify trends across units/site.
• Assess 6S practices and suggest improvements for safety, quality, efficiency.
• Assist line leads in developing training plans to build skills efficiently with impact.
• Build or test products as business needs warrant.
