Job summary

Tyson Jay Management Pte Ltd is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to safeguard enterprise IT environments within a managed services setting. You will monitor security events, help resolve incidents and support vulnerability management and access controls.

The role requires 2–3 years in cybersecurity or related fields, ITIL Foundation certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, security operations, infrastructure support or system administration.
• Exposure to security monitoring, vulnerability management, access controls, endpoint security or infrastructure security.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent, with good troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and investigate unusual activities across enterprise systems, endpoints, networks and cloud environments.
• Support investigation and resolution of security incidents, including escalation, containment, recovery and follow-up actions.
• Perform vulnerability reviews and work with technical teams to prioritise and address identified weaknesses.
• Administer identity, access and privileged-access controls.
• Support security controls including monitoring, endpoint protection, firewalls and secure remote access.
• Maintain system security standards, hardening controls and other operational security configurations.
• Support security reviews, audits, compliance activities and the preparation of relevant operational documentation.
• Participate in an after-hours support rotation for critical security incidents and escalations.
