Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a skilled Security Operations Center professional to monitor and respond to cybersecurity events. You will operate security tools, perform risk assessments, and escalate incidents to the L2 team as needed.

The role requires hands-on experience with network security, operating systems, and threat intelligence, with a focus on incident management within financial-grade environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Security Operations with incident management focus.
• Experience in banking/financial services industry.
• Familiarity with security products and network devices.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security concepts (intranet/extranet/internet).
• Experience with UNIX, AIX, Linux, and Windows.
• Understanding of TLS/SSL, encryption methods and 2FA.
• Ability to analyze packet-level data and security events.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIA, CCNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor developing cybersecurity events worldwide and escalate to L2 when relevant.
• Perform monitoring, risk assessments, and analysis using security tools.
• Follow procedures to handle security alerts and escalate appropriately.
• Execute daily tasks or lead small projects as needed.
• Maintain documentation and create operational KPI reports.
• Conduct the assessment phase of Vulnerability and Threat Management.
• Receive threat intel and update the knowledge base.
• Support security incident response investigations across the Group.
• Improve SOC methodologies with the Team Lead.
• Ensure tickets are closed accurately and timely.
