Job summary

Tung Lok Millennium Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable cook/kitchen assistant to cover for the absence of the cook and maintain high food quality. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standard recipes, ensuring portion control and presentation.

Ideal candidates have experience in a kitchen role, strong knowledge of food safety, and the stamina to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Able to perform split shifts and work weekends/public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in the absence of the cook.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standard recipes.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Ensure proper portion control and minimize food waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
