Tung Lok Catering in Singapore is seeking an experienced cook to prepare and cook dishes according to our restaurant standards. You will ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene across the kitchen while leading a team of cooks and trainees.

The role requires flexibility to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays, with a strong emphasis on maintaining cleanliness, portion control, and minimizing food waste in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Able to perform split shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook dishes from menus according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation in line with food safety regulations.
• Lead a team of cooks and trainees to execute day-to-day operations.
• Pack and organize cooked and uncooked food.
• Minimize food waste and ensure portion control.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior.
