Job summary

Chromatec instruments (Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Sales & Service Engineer to support both sales development and after-sales technical service for our range of scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, consumables, and sample preparation products in Singapore and the region.

You will promote, install, train, and provide maintenance and troubleshooting, while building strong customer relationships and coordinating with overseas principals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with scientific instruments or lab equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with GC, GC-MS, HPLC, or LC-MS is preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome with strong technical aptitude and sales interest.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel occasionally for overseas training.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell instruments and consumables.
• Develop new customers and nurture key accounts.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Prepare quotations and technical proposals.
• Provide installation, maintenance, and basic repair support.
• Offer first-line technical support via phone, email, remote or on-site.
• Coordinate with overseas principals on sales matters.
• Deliver customer training and support enquiries.
• Prepare service reports and maintain records.
• Attend manufacturers' training sessions.
