Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high-quality technical service and support for analytical and scientific instruments at customer sites.

You will install, commission and verify instrument performance, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose issues and provide on-site and remote support. Frequent travel within the territory (25–50%) is required, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on technical experience with instrumentation installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience working with customers in a technical service environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and verify the performance of analytical instruments at customer sites.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose instrument hardware, software and system issues and provide on-site and remote support.
