Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Migration PMO to lead SAP S/4HANA data migration governance and delivery across modules. The role requires 8–10 years in PMO or PM delivery with SAP experience.

Responsibilities include planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive reporting, plus training and handover for a global delivery model. Singapore-based with agile delivery practices.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration PMO to lead and coordinate all aspects of data migration within the SAP S/4HANA rollout. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of hands-on experience in project/program management, with a strong background in SAP implementations and a proven track record in managing complex data migration projects across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise

Data Migration Governance & Delivery Excellence

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of data migration governance frameworks, including planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Ensure data migration activities are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the integration and migration of data across all SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, WM, PM, HR, etc.), ensuring data quality, consistency, and operational continuity.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze current data structures and business processes, identify data-related pain points, and propose standardization or automation opportunities enabled by SAP S/4HANA.
• Design scalable, efficient data migration processes to improve project visibility, resource utilization, and delivery accuracy.

Cross-Module & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Ensure seamless collaboration between SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, and support functions for unified data migration delivery.
• Manage process dependencies such as data mapping, data cleansing, cutover planning, change management, and stakeholder communications.

End-User Enablement & Support

• Develop and deliver training for project managers, module leads, and stakeholders on data migration processes, tools, and best practices.
• Provide expert-level support for operational issues such as data migration delays, resource conflicts, and reporting challenges.

Documentation & Compliance

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data migration plans, governance frameworks, risk registers, and training guides.
• Ensure documentation supports traceability, audit requirements, and handover throughout the SAP program lifecycle.
• Stay updated on the latest innovations in SAP S/4HANA data migration, project management methodologies, and digital PMO tools.
• Drive ongoing improvements in data migration PMO processes for better project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in PMO, project management, or delivery assurance roles, with a focus on SAP implementations and data migration.
• Proven experience in end-to-end SAP data migration delivery from blueprinting to post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules, data migration tools, project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and reporting.
• Integration knowledge with business functions such as finance, procurement, operations, and IT.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in global delivery models with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience in Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) and/or Manufacturing industries.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Activate methodology, digital PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP Project System), and agile delivery models.
• Familiarity with advanced reporting tools and project analytics.

Education Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree (e.g., MBA in Project Management, Operations, or Business Administration) is preferred.
• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) is highly desirable.
• SAP Certification or formal SAP project management/data migration training is an advantage.
