Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead to define and drive the data migration strategy, governance, and execution across all project phases, including mock cycles, cutover, and production deployment.

The role requires 10–20 years of SAP implementation experience, deep knowledge of data migration methods, data quality, and governance, with SAP certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in SAP implementation and transformation programmes.
• Proven experience leading SAP Data Migration workstreams across complex SAP implementations (ECC to S/4HANA).
• Strong expertise in data migration methodologies, data quality management, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end data migration strategy and roadmap for SAP transformation programmes.
• Establish data migration governance, standards, templates, and best practices.
• Lead data discovery, profiling, and source system assessments.
• Define data extraction, transformation, cleansing, enrichment, and loading approaches.
• Review and approve functional and technical mapping specifications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data quality rules and acceptance criteria.
• Lead data reconciliation and validation activities across mock and production cycles.
• Manage migration risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Coordinate migration activities across business, functional, development, testing, and infrastructure teams.
• Own cutover planning and execution for data migration activities.
• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and security requirements.
• Provide leadership during mock loads and production deployments.

• Demonstrated participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations, covering discovery, design, build, testing, mock migration cycles, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Strong expertise in data migration methodologies, data quality management, data governance, reconciliation, and migration tools, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• SAP certifications(s) are highly preferred, with a strong understanding of SAP data structures, integration architecture, and best practices for enterprise-scale data migration programmes.
