Qualifications

• 10+ years SAP development experience, with at least 5 years as Development Lead.
• Delivered two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA with clean-core extensibility.
• Strong hands-on ABAP / ABAP for HANA / RAP; CDS/OData; Fiori/UI5; SAP BTP / CAP.
• Experience with code reviews, transport management, DevOps/CI-CD, and performance tuning.
• Experience in government, defence, or highly regulated environments preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• SAP certification in ABAP Development or S/4HANA Extensibility; SAP BTP/Fiori certifications; Secure Coding certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP development workstream including RICEFW and extensions.
• Establish and enforce development standards, code quality, and governance.
• Drive clean-core development using in-app and side-by-side extensibility.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specs and solutions.
• Manage authorisations, transports, and DevOps/CI-CD with Basis and architecture.
• Ensure unit testing, security scanning, performance tuning, and code quality.
• Support SIT/UAT defect resolution and technical cutover activities.
• Lead and mentor distributed development teams, including security-cleared staff.
