Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned SAP Development Lead to steer complex development workstreams across ABAP, HANA, and modern SAP technologies.

The role focuses on clean-core extensibility, rigorous coding standards, and end-to-end delivery for government and defence-grade environments in Singapore. Candidate must have 10+ years in SAP development, 5+ years in leadership, and hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementations, ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and SAP BTP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP Development experience including 5+ years as a Development Lead.
• At least 2 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations with clean-core extensibility.
• Strong hands-on experience with ABAP, ABAP for HANA/RAP, CDS, OData, and Fiori/UI5.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP development workstream including RICEFW, extensions, coding standards, code reviews, and quality.
• Drive clean-core development using SAP BTP, RAP, and CAP for extensibility.
• Lead development across ABAP/ABAP for HANA, CDS, OData, Fiori/UI5, forms, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and development solutions.
• Manage developer authorisations, transports, and DevOps/CI-CD with Basis and Technical Architecture teams.
• Ensure unit testing, code security, performance, and development quality.
• Support SIT/UAT defect resolution and technical cutover activities.
• Lead and manage development teams, including security-cleared resources in controlled environments.

• Experience working in government, defence, classified, or controlled environments is highly preferred.
