Job summary

Next Ventures in Singapore seeks an experienced SAP Development Lead to take technical ownership of the development and extension landscape for a major SAP S/4HANA on-premise transformation.

This senior hands-on role requires expertise in ABAP development and SAP BTP, with leadership across architecture, governance and delivery to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP development workstream for on-premise S/4HANA programme, providing technical direction across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, integrations and custom development.
• Define and govern the S/4HANA technical architecture and clean-core strategy, ensuring the right balance between in-core development, extensibility and side-by-side solutions on SAP BTP.
• Lead and mentor development teams and partners, owning technical design, development standards, code quality, delivery governance and resolution of complex technical issues.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Development Lead to take technical ownership of the development and extension landscape for a major SAP S/4HANA on-premise transformation programme in Singapore. This is a senior hands-on architecture and leadership role for an individual who has built their career in SAP ABAP development and subsequently progressed into SAP technical architecture, development leadership and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and governing the development architecture across the S/4HANA landscape, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with SAP's clean-core principles. You will work closely with the SAP Solution Architect, Functional Leads, Integration Architects, Infrastructure teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
