Job summary

ALS is an international customs service provider seeking a pricing support professional in Singapore. You will coordinate with local pricing, procurement, overseas offices, and agents to obtain rates and tariff information, and you will prepare and submit accurate quotations based on Sales requirements in a timely manner.

Join us to handle regional tenders and spot quotations, liaise with overseas offices/agents, and escalate pricing issues when needed, using our Ticketing System and tariff

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the freight forwarding business or related fields.
• Prior regional exposure with experience in handling tenders, spot quotations, and liaising with overseas offices/agents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good team player with a customer-oriented mindset.

• Coordinate with Local Pricing, Procurement, overseas offices, and agents to obtain relevant rates and tariff information.
• Prepare and submit accurate quotations based on Sales requirements in a timely manner.
• Follow up on quotations with customers and Sales teams to obtain feedback and business updates, while maintaining records in the Ticketing System.
• Provide customer feedback and market insights to the Pricing and Procurement teams.
• Handle commercial and pricing-related escalations pertaining to quotations.
• Utilize internal systems and tools, including the Ticketing System, Tariff and Rate Tools, to support pricing activities.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the freight forwarding business or related fields.
• Prior regional exposure, with experience in handling local tenders, spot quotations, and liaising with overseas offices/agents for shipment activation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
