Job summary

UPS Asia Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Airfreight Planner to coordinate daily shipment movements, negotiate with airlines, and ensure billing accuracy and compliance.

You will contribute to tenders including customs and trade controls, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements within a 5.5-day work week, with an MRT shuttle service provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Supply Chain/Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of experience in airfreight or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IATA regulations; Dangerous Goods (DG) certification or knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiarity with customs and trade control regulations; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven ability in airfreight planning and coordination with airlines and terminals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across levels.
• Willing to work a 5.5-day week; shuttle bus provided to MRT stations.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in airfreight operations, providing advisory support and contributing to business tenders, including those related to customs and trade compliance.
• Implement corrective actions as directed by management in response to audit findings and operational gaps.
• Continuously review and improve work processes to ensure alignment with current operational requirements and evolving customer expectations
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or bachelor's degree of any discipline, preferably in Logistics & Supply Chain/Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in airfreight or related field.
• Strong knowledge of IATA regulations; Dangerous Goods (DG) certification or knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiarity with customs and trade control regulations; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven ability in airfreight planning and coordination, including direct engagement with airlines, terminals, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to work a 5.5-day work week (Alternate Saturday), office hours. We provide company shuttle bus in the morning and evening to selected MRT stations.
