Job summary

Vincere is seeking a freight forwarder to coordinate airfreight import shipments, handle customer inquiries and collaborate with overseas offices to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

You'll work in a multinational logistics environment, focusing on airfreight operations, billing accuracy, and strong communication with customers and partners. The role offers hybrid work and a daytime schedule with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years customer service experience for Executive roles or 3–4 years for Senior Executive roles.
• Experience in freight forwarding, particularly airfreight operations, is advantageous.
• Good written and spoken English with solid communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate airfreight import shipments with customers, overseas offices and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide status updates on arrivals and delays.
• Verify shipping documents and coordinate customs clearance and import permit compliance.
• Check rates and charges to ensure accurate billing and shipment profitability.
• Resolve shipment issues in collaboration with operations and warehouse teams.
• Prepare shipment records and ensure timely billing handover and job closure.

This role focuses on coordinating airfreight import shipments, managing customer enquiries and working closely with overseas offices and operational partners to ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate airfreight import shipments with customers, overseas offices, agents and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Respond to customer enquiries, monitor shipments and provide updates on arrivals, delays and delivery status.
• Verify shipping documents and coordinate customs clearance and import permit compliance.
• Check freight rates, supplier charges and customer approvals to ensure billing accuracy and shipment profitability.
• Resolve shipment discrepancies and service issues in collaboration with operational and warehouse teams.
• Prepare customer reports, maintain accurate shipment records and ensure timely billing handover and job closure.
• Follow customer procedures, regulatory requirements and quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of customer service experience for Executive positions, or 3–4 years for Senior Executive positions.
• Experience in freight forwarding, particularly airfreight operations, will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with shipping terms and documentation; knowledge of both air and sea freight is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organised and attentive to detail, with the ability to manage competing shipment priorities.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
• A customer service mindset and commitment to resolving issues promptly.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
