Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, or similar role in Freight Forwarding.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actions.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools; Salesforce or CW1 are advantageous.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams and levels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Commercial, and Business Process teams to implement and support local and regional sales initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize administrative processes within the sales organization.
  • Deliver training and onboarding support to new sales employees on sales processes, CRM tools, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CRM data quality, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly sales performance metrics, including pipeline health and gross profit returns.
  • Support governance and administration of sales incentive programs, including audits and commission payments.
  • Assist in the sales target-setting process for individual team members.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for country and regional sales leadership teams.
  • Provide operational and administrative support during bid preparation and proposal submissions.
  • Respond to ad hoc sales requests and other sales support activities.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects to enhance sales productivity and reporting.

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Support Executive to support the execution of sales initiatives, sales processes, CRM management, and business reporting. This role plays a critical part in driving sales effectiveness by partnering with Sales, Commercial, and Business Process teams to improve operational efficiency, data quality, performance visibility, and governance. The successful candidate will lead and support high-impact projects that contribute to business growth within a fast-paced and professional sales environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales, Commercial, and Business Process teams to implement and support local and regional sales initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize administrative processes within the sales organization in collaboration with the Regional Sales Operations team.
  • Deliver training and onboarding support to new sales employees on sales processes, CRM tools, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CRM data quality, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly sales performance metrics, including pipeline health, sales volumes, and gross profit returns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support the governance and administration of sales incentive programs, including audits and validation of bonus and commission payments.
  • Assist in the sales target-setting process for individual sales team members.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for country and regional sales leadership teams.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to the sales team during bid preparation and proposal submissions.
  • Respond to ad hoc sales requests, including quotation preparation and other sales support activities.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing sales productivity, reporting, and operational excellence.
What You Bring
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, or a similar role in Freight Forwarding.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools; experience with Salesforce, CW1, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
