Job description
    As a Sales Specialist - Immunohistochemistry at Leica Biosystems, you will be responsible for developing and implementing successful sales strategies to drive rapid revenue growth and expand market share in your territory. Collaboration with Sales, Service, and Applications teams will be key to achieving Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations.Your role will be fully remote in the Connecticut territory, where you will work towards advancing cancer diagnostics and improving lives. Reporting to the Sales Manager - Immunohistochemistry, you will contribute to leading a team of sales representatives to surpass sales goals and execute commercial strategies effectively.Key responsibilities include achieving annual product sales goals, maintaining accurate customer data in SFDC, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through sales and support assistance, coordinating product demos, installations, and customer training. Additionally, you will work with prospective and current customers to enhance Leica Biosystems" presence across territories, monitor competitive activities, and develop awareness of strategic selling tools.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant sales experience. Proven time management skills, contract negotiation abilities, and experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software are essential. Travel within the territory, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record are also required.Prior capital sales experience would be considered a plus.
