Job summary

TECHNOLITE (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a sales and marketing professional with a Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical/ Building Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the lighting industry. The role emphasizes developing market share, promoting products, and building lasting customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will plan marketing activities, forecast sales, and analyze competitors to strengthen the company’s market position.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical/ Building Engineering.
• 3+ years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in lighting.
• Strong drive to achieve targets in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Able to multi-task with good organization and be meticulous.

Responsibilities

• Attain in-depth knowledge of products and competitors.
• Identify business opportunities and follow-up.
• Promote products and articulate unique selling points to clients.
• Conduct market surveys and grow market share for existing and new products.
• Plan and carry out marketing exercises and presentations for products.
• Forecast monthly sales and yearly targets to meet supplier goals for each Brand.
• Monitor competitors' activities and adjust strategies to minimize impact on sales.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers based on understanding their business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Attain in-depth knowledge of the properties and marketability of the Company’s products and a detailed knowledge of competitors’ products
• Recognize, act upon and follow-up on business opportunities
• Promote company’s product to prospective clients and able to identify product’s unique selling points and provide the best solution
• Conduct market surveys and to ensure a substantial market share for existing and new products
• Plan and carry out marketing exercises and presentation for our products in a systematic approach
• Visualize, plan, submit and achieve monthly sales forecast as well as yearly sales target, hereby achieving our supplier’s target for each Brand
• Identify and furnish information on the various competitors’ activities, pricing, and suggest ways and means of reducing the impact of the competition on the Company’s sales
• Maintain and develop trusting long-term relationships with new and existing customers through understanding their business activity and needs

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical/ Building Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in sales and marketing, preferably in lighting industry.
• Strong passion in sales and highly driven to achieve targets
• Enjoy working with a dynamic team and able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Resourceful, meticulous and ability to multi-task with good organisation skills
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work as a team
