SJ AUTO PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Sales Executive for our Car Sales and Rental division to drive vehicle sales and rentals, identify customer needs, and deliver excellent service.

You will expand the customer base, meet monthly targets, manage bookings, upsell services, and maintain CRM records. The role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a customer-focused attitude. 5.5-day work week with performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive or rental industry.

Job Summary:

As a Sales Executive in our Car Sales and Rental division, you will be responsible for driving vehicle sales and rentals by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable vehicles, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will help expand the customer base, increase revenue, and uphold the company’s brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Car Sales

• Assist walk-in and online customers in choosing suitable vehicles based on their needs and budget.
• Promote and sell both new and used vehicles.
• Present and explain vehicle features, specifications, financing options, and after-sales packages.
• Achieve monthly sales targets set by the company.
• Prepare vehicle sales documents and follow up on payments and delivery.

2. Car Rentals

• Handle short-term and long-term rental enquiries.
• Explain rental terms, insurance coverage, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Coordinate rental bookings, vehicle delivery, and returns.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with rental policies.
• Upsell additional services like insurance, accessories, or lease-to-own plans.

3. Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Provide excellent pre- and post-sales support.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Follow up for renewals, upgrades, and referrals.

4. Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using CRM tools.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotions and campaigns.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and presentable for viewing and test drives.

Requirements:

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive or rental industry.

Working Hours:

• 5.5-day work week (including weekends and public holidays, with off-days on weekdays)
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, especially during peak periods or roadshows.
