Job summary

ALATAS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a organised and detail-oriented Sales Exec / Senior Sales Exec to join our spare parts sales team in Singapore. You will manage end-to-end parts coordination, from order entry to delivery, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely shipments.

You will liaise with OCM factories, global suppliers, and freight forwarders to expedite deliveries and resolve bottlenecks while supporting service teams to meet client lead times.

Qualifications

• Eligibility limited to Singapore Citizens and PRs.
• Purchasing experience in marine/port/construction industry preferred.
• Interest in learning hydraulic, mechanical & electrical parts.
• Independent, responsible and driven to close customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Process and track purchase orders, sales quotations, and parts shipments using the APS system.
• Liaise with factories, global suppliers, and freight forwarders to expedite deliveries and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
• Work closely with service teams and logistics supervisors to meet client lead times.

With our global set-up of 14 offices worldwide, we offer field service, provide technical solutions for emergency repairs, large scale overhauls, load testing, inspections, component repairs, spare parts supply as well as supply of new cranes and upgrades to existing ones.

The Role

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Sales Exec / Senior Sales Exec to join our team. You will be responsible for end-to-end parts coordination, inventory management, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations from order entry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and track purchase orders, sales quotations, and parts shipments using the internal Alatas Parts System (APS).
• Liaise with OCM factories, global suppliers, and freight forwarders to expedite deliveries and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
• Work closely with service teams and logistics supervisors to meet client lead times.

Requirement:

• Singapore Citizen and PR only.
• Previous purchasing experience, preferably in the marine-, port or construction industry
• Interested in learning hydraulic, mechanical & electrical parts
• Independent, responsible & driven to close Customers orders
• Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory software/ERP platforms.
• Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of orders and drives them to completion.
• For Senior-level candidates, salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
