Job summary

DEEPSEEK Subsea Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive lead generation and execute back-to-back equipment trading.

You will source technical inquiries from marine offshore subsea buyers and match them with our global supplier and manufacturing network, including SMD equipment and engine parts. The role focuses on identifying new business, negotiating quotes, and expanding the client base across regional and international markets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in marine sales, business development or trading.
• Back-to-back trading, indent sales or wholesale distribution knowledge.
• Willingness to travel overseas on short notice for client meetings.
• Familiarity with marine engines, subsea components or offshore equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Sourcing: Proactively hunt for new business leads and RFQs from marine offshore buyers.
• Back-to-Back Trade Management: Match client requirements with manufacturers to secure pricing and swift execution.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with procurement managers and ship/contracting personnel.
• Overseas Client Engagement: Travel regionally/internationally to meet clients and attend exhibitions.
• Quotation & Margin Optimization: Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and structure deals to maximize margins.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are expanding our commercial team and looking for a dynamic sales executive to drive lead generation and execute back-to-back equipment trading. You will focus on sourcing technical inquiries from marine offshore subsea buyers and matching them with our global supplier and manufacturing network (including SMD equipment and engine parts).

• Lead Generation & Sourcing: Proactively hunt for new business leads, RFQs (Request for Quotes), and purchasing requirements from marine offshore and subsea buyers.
• Back-to-Back Trade Management: Rapidly match incoming client parts requirements with manufacturer capabilities to secure competitive pricing and swift execution.
• Client Relationship Management: Manage and cultivate relationships with procurement managers, technical superintendents, ship managers, and offshore contractors.
• Overseas Client Engagement: Travel regionally/internationally to meet clients, visit shipyards, and attend industry exhibitions to secure cross-border trade deals.
• Quotation & Margin Optimization: Prepare commercial quotes, negotiate pricing, and structure deals to maximize trading margins while ensuring minimal inventory risk.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of proven sales, business development, or trading experience within the marine, subsea, or offshore industries.
• Business Model: Clear understanding of back-to-back trading, indent sales, or wholesale distribution workflows in the maritime sector.
• Travel Flexibility: Must be willing and fit to travel overseas on short notice for client meetings and business development.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with marine engines, subsea components, offshore equipment, or specialized systems like SMD (Soil Machine Dynamics) is highly advantageous.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and lead-hunting capabilities. Strong command of English and mandarin to handle local and regional corporate clients.
• Eligibility: Open to Singaporeans and PRs.
