Job summary

KANKEN TECHNO PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an account manager fluent in Japanese to handle key customers primarily in Singapore and some Southeast Asia. You will coordinate with Japan/Taiwan manufacturers in Japanese and English, attend meetings, prepare reports, and manage quotations and pricing negotiations.

The role requires strong analytical, negotiation and customer service skills, with willingness to travel. 5-day week in office, attractive allowances and performance incentives are offered.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts of customers primarily in Singapore, with some in Southeast Asia.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships to promote existing and new products.
• Coordinate with manufacturers in Japan/Taiwan in Japanese and English.
• Attend technical and sales meetings with customers.
• Prepare sales reports and meeting minutes.
• Issue quotations, price calculations and negotiations with customers and suppliers.
• Arrange delivery schedules with customers and factories.
• Customer entertainment may be required.
• Meet with technical teams in Japan and local support teams.

• Responsible for account management of the customers who are mainly in Singapore. (some are in South East Asia countries)
• Develop and maintain good relationship with customers to present/promote the existing and new products.
• Coordination with the manufacturer in Japan/Taiwan in Japanese and English.
• Attend technical meeting, sales meeting and meeting with customers.
• Prepare sales report & meeting minutes.
• Issue quotation, price calculation and price Negotiation with customers and suppliers.
• Arrange delivery schedule with customers and factories.
• Customer entertainment may required.
• Meeting with technical team in Japan and technical support team locally.

Requirements

• As this position needs to liaise with Japan HQ, therefore, knowingJapanese language
• Japanese speaking SG citizen or PR (NLPT 2 and above
• Preferably Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Development or relevant field
• Experienced in working with MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint
• At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing / semiconductor industry or min. 1 year experience in Sales
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
• Willing to travel when required
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills

Mon – Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm (full 5-day week in office)
