Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is recruiting a sales/business development professional to grow our logistics-services footprint in Southeast Asia. You will manage key accounts, pursue new opportunities, and coordinate with operations to ensure high-quality delivery across local and overseas offices.

The role requires 2–5 years in logistics sales, Japanese communication with stakeholders, and a proactive mindset to develop pricing, proposals, and SOPs with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 2–5 years in sales or business development.
• Experience in Logistics/Transportation or Freight Forwarding.
• Ability to liaise with Japanese stakeholders in Japanese.
• Tank operations or leasing experience is a plus with chemical industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales to meet company goals, standards and KPIs.
• Manage assigned customers and pursue new business from potential list.
• Monitor progress and results; establish contingency plans.
• Resolve customer issues across operations, service, receivables, or sales.
• Engage with local and overseas offices and customers.
• Prepare pricing studies and quotations.

Job Description:

- Direct Sales activities to meet company goals, sales standards and KPI

- Manage customers assigned and secure new customer through potential list

- Monitor progress, results and establish contingency plans

- Resolve customer issues pertaining to operations, customer service, receivables or any other sales-related issues

- Sales engagement with both local and oversea offices and customers

- Pricing study + Quotations

- Provide competitive analysis and assist in the formulation of strategies for sales team

- Generate & develop SOP jointly with and other departments

- Annual Budget preparations and attainment

- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the company

Job Requirements:

- Minimum Tertiary or Degree holder

- At least 2 - 5 years of sales or business development experience

- Having relevant work experience in the Logistics, Transportation or Freight Forwarding in related field

- Must be able to understand and converse in Japanese to liaise with Japanese stakeholders and customers

- Experience in Tank operations or leasing will be preferable with knowledge of the Chemical industry

Compensation:

- Work location: South East, Singapore

- Working hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm / 9am to 6pm

- 2 days WFH/Month

- Variable bonus depends on company and individual performance
