Job summary

Manufacturing in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to grow our regional presence in SEA. The role emphasizes building new accounts from existing clients and maintaining strong relationships with current ones.

You will coordinate with Japan Headquarters and the local service team, ensure on-time delivery, and update inventory using Autocount while preparing accurate sales quotations for customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year sales/sales support experience.
• Proficient in Japanese and Chinese to liaise with stakeholders and customers.
• Degree or diploma in marketing/business development or related field.
• MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong analytical, cost analysis and reporting skills.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Job Description:

Our client, a Japanese leading company in field of Abatement and VOC device, and scrubber systems, is looking for a sales executive who can start working immediately.

• Establishing new accounts for plant equipment (30%) from existing clients
• Maintaining relationship with current clients (70%)
• Targeting from Local / Foreign companies and factories in S.E.A
• Exchanging and translating information with Japan Headquarter and Local service team
• Ensuring timely delivery of item(s) to meet customer’s requirement
• Maintaining and updating of inventory records using software system (Autocount)
• Prepare sales quotation to customers

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in Sales/ Sales Support
• Japanese speaking ability to liaise with Japanese speaking internal stakeholders from Japan HQ and Japanese Speaking Customers
• Chinese speaking ability to liaise with Chinese speaking internal stakeholders and Chinese Speaking Customers
• Preferably Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Development or relevant field
• Experienced in working with MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
• Willing to travel when required
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills

Effective from 1 October 2020 under the new Employment Agencies (EAs) Licence Conditions, EAs will be required to collect the personal data (e.g. NRIC number number for overseas candidates) of applicants referred to employers for permanent or contract job positions of at least six months with a fixed monthly salary of S$3,300 and above.
