Job summary

MAUSER SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an active industrial sales professional to expand existing business and generate new opportunities in petrochemical, specialty chemical, food & beverages, personal care, and oleochemical sectors.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, qualify requirements, and provide technical recommendations while contributing to sales plans and achieving targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industrial sales experience with a proven track record.
• Diploma or degree in any field.
• Passion for sales and ability to interact with customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build existing businesses and generate new business opportunities in target industries.
• Provide excellent customer service through rapport, understanding requirements, and technical recommendations.
• Contribute to sales plans aligned with corporate objectives and meet sales targets.
• Close sales professionally and efficiently; respond to enquiries with accurate information.
• Be accountable for margin and collections targets.
• Lead interdepartmental discussions to drive growth and meet customer requirements.
• Work closely with customer service and production planner to meet customer needs.

Job description

(A) Key Functions and Responsibilities

1.To proactively build existing businesses and generate new business opportunities in the petro-chemical, specialty chemical, food & beverages, personal cares and oleochemical industries.

2.To passionately provide customer service through good rapport and relationships including understanding and qualifying of requirements, technical recommendations, issue resolutions and support.

3.To participate in the formulation and commitment to the implementation of the company’s sales plans in line with corporate objectives.

4.To ensure the meeting of sales target and closing of sales in a professional and effective manner.

5.To respond efficiently to enquiries with appropriate information about the company and its products and service offerings.

6.To be accountable for margin and collection targets.

(B)Supplementary Functions

1.To constantly monitor and feedback on market developments to enhance accurate and timely decision making.

2.To lead interdepartmental discussions to generate growth and meet customer requirements.

3.To work closely with customer service and production planner to meet customer’s requirement.

(C)Skill/Experience

1.Must possess good leadership skills to drive management of results.

2.Must be independent, passionate, self-motivated, and results driven to be able to work with minimal supervision to achieve KPIs set.

3.Must possess good build and solving values to generate sales growth.

4.Must possess strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.

5.Must be proficient, both written and verbal, in English.

6.Must be able to communicate business proposals and technical issues with good presentation skills.

7.Must possess good "soft" skills to interact with all levels especially top-level decision makers.

8.Must possess own transport and willingness to travel.

9.Able to work under pressure.

10.Computer literate.
