Job summary

JAC Recruitment PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer/Senior Sales Engineer to grow our Electronics and Photonics business across Singapore and ASEAN.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers and technical teams to develop advanced engineering solutions and drive business development. Based at Kallang, the role offers exposure to regional customers, product demonstrations, quotations and training, with travel within ASEAN as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electronics, Photonics, Electrical engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Senior role requires at least 2 years of technical sales experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting and cold calling.
• Manage and grow accounts across Singapore and ASEAN.
• Deliver product presentations, demos, and technical support.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to meet targets.

About the Company

A leading technology distribution and solutions provider is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer to support the growth of its Electronics and Photonics business across Singapore and the ASEAN region. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, suppliers, and technical teams while developing expertise in advanced engineering solutions and business development.

Working Location: Kallang, Singapore

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting and cold calling.
• Manage and grow customer accounts across Singapore and ASEAN.
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical support.
• Recommend suitable technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to achieve sales targets.
• Provide product training, installation support, and troubleshooting assistance.
• Travel regionally to support customers and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Photonics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with at least 2 years of technical sales experience will be considered for the Senior Sales Engineer position.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Customer-oriented with a passion for sales and business development.
• Comfortable with cold calling and new customer acquisition activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel within ASEAN when required.
