SKF Marine Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to develop and grow sales within SEA, focusing on mechanical and marine equipment.

You will understand customer requirements, propose technical solutions, negotiate terms, and secure orders while building strong relationships with shipowners, managers, and yards. The role offers regional exposure with travel across SEA, competitive remuneration, incentives, and opportunities for career development within a global marine

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in technical sales or related industries.
• Experience in SEA region (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia) in marine industry.
• Strong opportunity-spotting and conversion skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and results-driven.
• Self-motivated and organized; able to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office and English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within assigned territories and customer accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Follow up on opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and secure orders.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.
• Conduct regular customer visits and provide technical and commercial support.
• Monitor market trends, customer activities, and competitor developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Service, Sales & Logistic and Finance to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales forecasts, customer visit reports, and other sales-related reports.
• Participate in industry exhibitions, seminars, and business development activities as required.
