Hirata FA Engineering (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a capable Sales & Marketing professional to drive automation product enquiries, coordinate with the design and marketing teams, and manage project cycles from inception to completion.

You will liaise with Japanese-speaking customers and our Japan HQ, review technical specifications in Japanese and English, and provide translation support as needed. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in sales & marketing for automation products.
• Experience in mechanical design and/or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Familiar with project management in industrial automation/robotic systems.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Japanese & English proficiency to communicate with customers and HQ.
• JLPT N2 or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsabilités

• Attend to customer enquiries on Industrial Automation products.
• Collaborate with design team on conceptual design.
• Prepare periodical sales reports.
• Manage projects through the full project cycle.
• Coordinate with marketing to explore new business opportunities.
• Liaise with Japanese-speaking customers and Japan HQ staff on project matters, technical discussions, and sales inquiries.
• Facilitate communication among customers, headquarters, and internal teams to ensure smooth project coordination.
• Review and clarify technical specifications, drawings, and project-related documents in Japanese and English.
• Provide Japanese translation and interpretation support for meetings, emails, documents and other business communications.
• Assist with ad hoc Japanese communication and other business arrangements such as car rentals where applicable.
