Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore-East is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop new business in the automation sector. You will coordinate projects, support customers with technical solutions, and work with engineering teams to tailor offerings.

The role requires a Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent with 2 years of experience in automation manufacturing or EMS, strong communication, and negotiation skills. On-site role with fast-paced environment and regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
2 years of experience in automation manufacturing / EMS / contract manufacturing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in automation.
Negotiate distributorships or dealership partnerships where applicable.
Coordinate projects from initial contact to delivery to meet customer requirements.
Respond to technical inquiries and provide product and solution information.
Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to tailor solutions.
Source tender opportunities and analyze sales performance.
Ensure timely customer deliveries and assist with logistics as needed.
